When I Write, I Lose My Senses

Hello all.

Lately, I’ve been working on a new Baker Project, that can be described as simply losing my senses. There are moments where I am working on a particular part in this project and I just lose it. I lose a sense of time, logic, fear, worry…etc. Many creative writers, artists have called this a state of flow. It’s indescribable really to be so immersed in something in this case writing, that I loose track of time.

I was currently working on my project and I just got a sudden rush to write about this state of mind while it was still fresh in me.
This post is just coming straight from my soul at this very moment, I don’t even know if I should categorize things or label things and call this a “regular” Baker post at this moment. I just feel really blissful and amazing to be able to put words on paper, and have it feel like the words are just glowing out of the page. It’s a pretty amazing feeling when one gets in this flow because it feels like time just stops. To be this immersed in the present moment is something I won’t try to describe here, but just felt I needed to put out into the world.

I don’t even know if what I just wrote made total sense. But I lose my senses when I’m writing…

When I was free of all thought I entered this space.
It was neither a fast or slow pace.
Neither was it a race.
The need for desiring anything did not exist.
All I remember was pure bliss.
A place where abundant creativity flowed naturally.
Not concerned with what “they” see.
It was the flow that set me free.
It was the flow that allowed me to BE.

Sticking With Your Talents-What is Your Bread & Butter?

6 Sep

bread_and_butter

Hello.
Writing these blogs is where I feel most comfortable and at ease on a creative level.
I consider myself an above average blogger, because I enjoy writing. This enjoyment is proof enough for me to continue on. My bread and butter is writing these blogs and specifically personal development blogs that inspire others to grow consciously.

TRULY TALENTED INDIVIDUALS

I happen to know some truly talented individuals who are exceptional at singing. I get really inspired hearing them sing, because I can at times, really feel the enjoyment and passion in their voice as they are singing. These talented individuals know their bread and butter, and they stick to their talent. I am in awe at times listening to great musicians, really going out and sharing their talents, and passion. However for me, I know that if I really tried singing I probably wouldn’t be very good at it, because it’s not something I personally truly have a passion for, nor the natural talent.

I also know amazing people who are really good at organizing and planning. These people can take something that may look really complex for me personally, and break it down into tangible organized planning, that end up with positive results. I am mediocre with organizing and planning, because it’s not something I truly have a passion for. I truly admire individuals who have a strong talent in organizing and planning, but if I tried to step to their level I know realistically I wouldn’t be as efficient in that area as they would be.

“Put your talent into your work, but your genius into your life”
-Oscar Wilde

MY BREAD AND BUTTER
For now, my “bread and butter” is in writing blogs. This blog is what I go back to when I need a creative outlet for myself. Even if I haven’t posted on here much of late, I know that I can always go back to this creative form, to get my creativity out of me. I really enjoy writing blogs, because it allows me to share and provide positive value to my readers. I stick to my bread and butter, because this is where my energy is needed at this particular time in my life. It may change as I grow, (perhaps into public speaking ) But for now, this is where I feel I can operate at my best. My ability to write and provide positive value at the same time is very exciting for me. Providing positive value to me is enjoyable. Some people may not enjoy providing positive value, and may like doing many other things. I want you to understand that whatever you are really good at doing, enjoy it to the max and stick with it. Don’t worry too much about what other people are really good at, and focus on what you are really good at. Expand your talents. You were given these talents for a reason.

Another talent I have, that most people that personally know me are aware of, is that in person I’m a pretty funny guy. I enjoy making people laugh. I have a humors side that comes out at random, and I think the fact that it’s random is what makes it even more funny…lol. It’s something I don’t even really try hard at, and don’t even notice when I’m doing it! It really is very easy for me to make light of any situation. My humor is another bread and butter for me in more social situations. I tap into my humors side to feel more comfortable. I like to use humor to open up conversations and break the ice with all different types of people. I believe that with a good laugh, people’s guards are usually let down and I get to strike up really nice conversations with the individual on more grounded terms.

“True happiness involves the full use of one’s power and talents.”
John W. Gardner

I have several talents, but I stick to what works at the moment. This topic is very of reminiscent of when I used to play basketball. I knew that my bread and butter was my mid range jumpshot. I knew that if I shot a mid range jumpshot 8 time out of 10, I would make the basket. I was talented in other offensive areas such as driving it into the hole, and long range shooting, but my bread and butter was the mid-range shot. I can count on it, when I needed it. It was a comfortable spot for me.

SHARE YOUR TALENT
Starting out, It’s also important to experiment and try new things. You really never know where your real talents are if you never really gave it try in the first place! However if you are fortunate enough to have, found a few talents you are really good at, I urge you to stick with those main ones. Those main talents will become your bread and butter. Also, don’t be afraid to show it to others. Showing your talent to others whether it be singing, dj-ing, dancing, organizing, leading, humor etc…Show it to people, because you never know how many people actually get inspired by you sharing your talents!

Looking At Life Like It's One Big Classroom

2 Apr

classroom

Hello all.
Life is one big classroom, filled with many lessons. When you look at life like a classroom, events and things that come along will make more sense to you. For example when something upsets you during the day, you can take it as a learning lesson. When you start looking at life like you are supposed to learn lessons, life actually becomes more exciting. The reason it becomes more exciting, is because you look at things with a healthy curiosity. Those that are curious, usually seek answers to questions they were never aware of. Those that are rigid with one way of doing things, never allow the curiosity to come out of them and don’t learn much.

“Live as if your were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.”

-Ghandi

The great thing that I’ve personally taken on was to be enthusiastic about learning new things. The more enthusiastic I got by wanting to learn, the more exciting life became. The world is changing fast, the more enthusiastic you and I get about learning new things, allows us to experience life like it was one big classroom, filled with exciting lessons. Some lessons are harder to learn than others, but just the fact that you acknowledge the fact that you are learning, gives you the opportunity to live a more beyond successful life.

Many people that are stuck and confused in life, are generally people that say they know it all. There is no way to know it all, if we knew it all we wouldn’t be here (earth). If life is one big classroom, it would be a good idea to be enthusiastic about each new learning experience.
Everyday presents new lessons, just the idea of that excites me.

How To Appreciate The Little Things in Life

23 Mar

Hello all.

This post will show you how to appreciate the little things in life. First, look at something very simple. Look at the sky, or a tree.

Step 1
Look at it this with wonder and awe. Look at it and feel grateful for being able to witness the greatness of being alive and being able to see. Many people overlook the vast beauty in nature. The birds, trees, flowers, ocean water… These are wonderful things that we can appreciate and be in awe of if we pay attention to it enough.

Step 2
Second, Don’t over think the situation. Just be in the presence of awe and wonder as you look at this “thing” The more you witness and are in awe of the little things that nature is presenting, an inner stillness and amazing feeling rushes in your body. This little thing even if it’s for a few seconds of appreciation is special, because you are in tune with the goodness of life even for just a brief moment.

Step3
Third, Teach people how to do this when they are ready. Many people are not ready to appreciate the little things in life yet. But be patient soon they will see the amazing things in such simple things.

I appreciate my readers that have read this post.

“Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.”

Providing Positive Value

“The most effective way to achieve right relations with any living thing is to look for the best in it, and then help that best into the fullest expression.”
-Anonymous

Hello all.
Providing positve value to people is where the juice in life is. When you focus on service and assisting others, you take yourself outside of the box, and into a world of endless possibilities. The best way to reach your own desires and goals, is by first asking yourself, how can I Provide positive value to people? Providing positive value has a very special reward for many individuals. One of the best rewards by providing positive value to people is the inner sense of accomplishment you will receive. When I write these posts, a sense of accomplishment and fulfillment becomes present in me. There are many ways to provide positive value to people. The best way is to focus on your own talents. What are you naturally good at?
When you pick what you are naturally good at, for example writing, counseling, photography, music or anything of that nature, share this unique talent and focus on the positive value that you are sending out.
Sending out positive value is essential to getting the ball rolling in life. As you stay in-tune with your talents, and focus on providing positive value, soon enough it becomes really easy for you to do so. It becomes very natural to do what you do and share this amazing gift with other people.
The fulfillment in creating positive value alone is one of the best feelings in the world.

Many people get stuck endlessly working hard for something that barley keeps them surviving. This is the old way of doing things, and is not the only way to make a living. When your total focus is to provide positive value to the world, for doing something whether it be at a job, or your own business, you are making a bold statement. You are trusting that you believe in what you have to offer the world and are living a more meaningful life, versus just going with the motions. To be a person of service and have that value reach many people I think is way more valuable than trying to survive. Providing positive value to others can come in many different forms. The best part is that you get to decide how to create this reality. As long as you are following your highest joy and working on your talents, with the intent of providing positive value to people, I believe that the world is yours.

Focus first on what you can provide to others, and the rest will flow naturally to you. You will be amazed at the great positive changes in your life that begin to emerge as a result of providing positive value to other people.

You Don’t Need Permission To Soar

21 Feb

soar

Hello all.
Many times in life we look for others to give us permission to soar above and beyond our goals. You need to stop thinking that there is one absolute answer to everything. When choosing to follow your dreams or do what everyone else is doing is to realize that you don’t need permission to soar. You have been socially conditioned to believe that there are limits to what you can accomplish. In reality there aren’t any limits to what you can be, do, or have. You set the limits and you create what you want to experience.
When you are met with challenges in pursuit of your dreams, realize that these are just small tests along the way to see if you are certain on your course of action.
The only real permission that matters is the permission you give yourself. Take some time out of your day to reflect on what you really want out of life. Write down the action steps you believe will get you to where you want to go. Seek advice from those that actually have gone the same route you intend to experience.

This post has nothing to do with what other people want you to become, and everything to do with what you want to become. When you live your life in other people’s eyes, there will always be something in the back of your mind that says, “What if?”

What if I decided to follow my dreams?
What if I did decide to follow my heart? etc.

Living your life through what others want from you makes you a victim. If you constantly do what others want from you, then you are subject to blame those same people in the future, if later you find yourself unhappy with the outcome.

You would rather fail at something you feel is right and be content with the decision, then succeed at something that someone else feels was right for you, and be unhappy.

What I’ve come to learn is that there is no one person at the end that says: “Yes you can.” There really is no such thing as a hero. You are the hero. This is your story. If you choose to be.

Give yourself the permission to soar.

How To Enjoy Your Day.

16 Feb

Hello all.
Enjoying your day is easy once you realize that you can create it to be enjoyable. First, you must acknowledge and accept the fact that you can have an enjoyable day. When you recognize that you deserve an enjoyable day, the next steps become a lot more smoother. When you intend on enjoying your day, you will begin to look for things and events that allow your day to be enjoyable. There are many people living on default. This means that many people become robots to what they do on a regular basis. Many people feel that life just happens to them, and go through the motions. This can change with practice.

If you wake up in the morning and literally intend to enjoy your day, and focus on enjoyment, there is a great chance that things that come up during the day will be enjoyable. This is because you are seeking it out. Even when something really bad happens during the day, the way you deal with that circumstance might even be better this time around because your intentions were to see the good in the situation.

Enjoying your day needs to be concluded with a nice reward for yourself. When you have completed the day, by focusing on enjoying your day, do something really good for yourself such as buying a small scoop of your favorite ice cream or something you consider rewarding. When you reward yourself for enjoying your day, you will be training your mind to continue to have more enjoyable days ahead. Enjoy the process of enjoying your day and habitually practice rewarding yourself. This is positive reinforcement at it’s finest.

I suggest to look for the enjoyment in the small things. When you start to notice the little things in life that you may find enjoyable, these are generally the best things to focus on. Regardless if people find what you do boring or strange, continue to do it, if it is what you want, and is enjoyable for you.
For example, I really like going to the bookstore and reading books. I may or may not purchase a book. However, this is very enjoyable for me. Some people don’t like reading books. But I do it because it brings me joy. It’s a small thing, that I know makes a big difference in my life.

The combination of intending to enjoy your day at the start of the day, and rewarding yourself with something you like for accomplishing enjoying your day actually creates more enjoyable days for you in the future, and makes life a lot more fun. This is what it means to live an abundant lifestyle. There is so much good to go around for you once you realize that you can train yourself to accept it.
Once you get in a nice flow of intending, accepting, and rewarding yourself for creating enjoyable days for yourself, more enjoyable days are certain to come to you.

I hope you enjoyed this post.

Baker Predictions for the Year 2020

13 Feb

collect-silver-coins

Hello all.
There is a major shift in consiousness that is taking place at this moment. This means that at this moment there are many people on this planet that are awakening to new ideas of being and living. People are beginning to reject the old ways of structured conditioning thinking that keeps them and others suffering. The ideas of working hard for systems or corporations that they don’t believe in and feel are right, are beginning to break down, and loose face. These individuals are slowly starting to realize that working for what they don’t like is not the only option, and there are creative ways to do what they love and witness life as a walking dream of goodness and joy in abundance. These individuals are starting to create from their hearts and moving closer to unity with one another, in joy and community. This will continue to happen and will really be present by the year 2020. By the year 2020 there will be a new age in human consiousness. This means that many people by this year will be fully present and enjoy life more in unity with each other.

This will happen because of the 2nd Great depression that will take place in the United States. There will be major tragic events financially that will cause people to awaken to this new age in human consiousness. The old ways and systems of capitalism will unveil their truth, and crumble to the ground, as quickly as it rose. The ideas of the ego mind will be a thing of the past, and will be looked at with utter disgust, and many will wonder ” I can’t believe I used to think like that!” The 2nd Great Depression will lead to the the New Age in Human Consciousness.

The new age of human consiousness is taking place, some people are feeling it and some are fighting hard with their ego minds to resist it. Those that resist it will drown in the destruction they created for themselves, and the karmic forces that are supposed to happen to them will take place.
Those that are at the leading edge of this human consciousness are the ones that will allow this new found energy to manifest within themselves, and will prosper financially, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. From someone looking at the bigger scope, the events that take place prior to this shift in consiousness truly being in effect, will appear sad and devastating. The loss of jobs at historical rates, and people loosing homes at staggering all time highs, people loosing money, will actually be what is necessary for this new age in human consciousness to take place properly. People don’t know what they have until it is gone. They will humble themselves with the idea that relationship with self and others is all that mattered. When you loose everything you ever owned what is left? Your soul must be in the right place in order to receive the goodness that life has always offered. The idea of surrendering must take place for the new age in human consciousness to manifest itself naturally.

The new age in human consciousnesses will be where the lightworkers that people have labeled as crazy, misunderstood, odd, will shine and prosper if they choose to use talents for greater good for all. These are the lightworkers know what time it is, they will be the leaders and “way-showers” in this new age in human consiousness. There are many intuitive types in the world that understand and acknowledge this shift in consiousness, but have not had the powerful influence over people to effectively communicate this vision to be taken seriously. I am the pioneer in this movement, because I was given the gift of vision and also the gift to articulate and effectively communicate what they and I see as the new age in human consciousness.

Baker Prediction for the year 2020
1. The U.S dollar will be worthless. Silver and Gold will be the new currency.
2. The “middle class” in America won’t exist there will only be a Rich and Poor Class.
3. Corporate America will slowly diminish and eventually cease to exist.
3. People who worked hard for Corporate America will be jobless, and have the choice to either be apart of the new age of human consiousness or struggle immensely in search of things that won’t matter at this point.
4. Creators, entrepreneurs, builders, artists, musicians, writers, designers, channelers, painters, and poets that create from their heart and operate from light and truth will shine and have their work appreciated and respected more so in 2020 more than anytime in history.
5. The idea of “positive energy” will be mainstream and easily understood and felt by the majority.
6. Competition among individuals will be lessened, and cooperation heightened.

What Would Happen if the Majority of the People in the World Didn’t Do What They Loved?

9 Feb

beach1

Hello all.
Imagine a world where the majority of people didn’t do what they loved. What a minute, that is real in some parts of the U.S. Hmm. Okay, you don’t have to imagine it, it is already happening. Why are people worried about things that they can’t control anyway? Why is there still hate and bickering among people? Why is it when I speak of positive thinking, people still are skeptical about it, and allow their negative thoughts to talk them out of the good positive things in life? The reasons for these circumstances occurring is many fold. But the one reason that I want to point out is that, many people fall victim to these negative behaviors because they aren’t in alignment with who they really are. They slipped and allowed media and or government to control their way of life, and way of being. We live in a free society, but I wonder if the rules of this society cater to someone at the top to make all the money? When people wake up to the idea that they treat one another harshly because they are conditioned to do so, then we begin to wake up to the reality that we create our own future with our thoughts and actions. When you do what you don’t like repeatedly, you will live in a world that bounces back that same dissatisfaction into your life. What will happen is that you create more suffering for yourself and the other people around you. If enough people do this, you will begin to see a very twisted and hateful world.

When you do the opposite and do what you love, a world opens up to you that is more clearer, fulfilling, welcoming, and loving. So look around you, are a majority of people doing what they really are supposed to in this life? If they aren’t doing so, then do you think that has an effect on the people closest to them ?

What if the opposite happened? Would that just be too idealistic? Or is this something we can actually be hopeful for and make strides to becoming?
What would happen if the majority of the people in the world did what they loved?
I feel we are coming into awareness of a collective consiousness awakening to ideas that were once rejected and feared. The idea of positive energy and consious living will begin to be mainstream and widely accepted in the near future. These ideas are not idealistic, this is the reality that I live in. These ideas for a better society begins with you. Don’t just do what you love, but “BE” what you love.

At Your Own Pace, There Is No Race.

27 Jan

Allpics

Hello all.
When you go about your projects at your own pace, you realize there is no race.
Some individuals like to take their time and thoroughly think things through and this is where they feel most comfortable. Some individuals are more effective when they rush through things, and move fast. The interesting thing about being in the pursuit of your goals, is that the more you stay at your own pace, fast or slow, the better it feels, and the results seem much better at the end.

However, I want to remind my readers that the “process” alone is where the success and juice of life resides. When you are focused on the present moment, fully aware of your action steps you are operating at your own pace, you begin to realize that there really is no “race.” One step at a time is all it takes to stay at your comfortable pace.
When you happily and steadily go about your projects you will find an inner sense of accomplishment as you are moving along. The end result is minimized, and the present moment becomes maximized.
There is nothing wrong with thinking you are racing against someone or trying to beat someone, but the reality is that you set the pace. Enjoy the race, be comfortable with it, after all, it was what you created.

At Your Own Pace, There is No Race.

Why Beyond Success Isn’t Average Success.

Hello all.
Beyond success in not Average Success. Average success involves the idea of success as something that is a means to an end. Average success is a goal and or destination that needs to be met. Average success is what most people have in mind as the only way, and the right way. Receiving the prize at the end of the tunnel is average success. There is nothing wrong with average success. The house, the car, the money, these are all amazing and have it’s place. I have personal goals I am working towards achieving. However, when you come around to Baker Blog, understand that beyond success goes further than the old ways of average success.

Average success is just that. Average. Nothing wrong with it, but the idea of chasing something that everyone wants doesn’t seem that appealing to me. That’s the main reason I continue to post on here, and continue to grow and learn as an individual on my own path, thus helping countless others.

Beyond Success is learning and growing form all your experiences and is measured by the happiness and quality of your life. Whereas average success is defined by the physical things you’ve accumulated, beyond success can be simply measured by how closely you are in alignment with your life’s mission. This is the truth as I’ve come to understand it.

Beyond success is not better or worse than average success, it’s just a different way of living.
