Hello All.
Beyond Success is about keeping a cool head at all times. When things go wrong, being the cool headed nonchalant person in the room is essential. A cool headed person is relaxed, easygoing, and not overly concerned with the petty things that get in the way of beyond success. A cool head means that you are comfortable in your own state of being. A cool headed person has an inner knowing that regardless of the outcome in any situation, all is well, because he or she chose that to be so.

A cool head is confidence, it’s knowing what to do and when to do it. There are no actions steps that are unnecessary. When you have a cool head, all action steps taken are natural and effortless. Keep a cool head, and let it flow. You will be amazed by the cool results.

When I was free of all thought I entered this space.
It was neither a fast or slow pace.
Neither was it a race.
The need for desiring anything did not exist.
All I remember was pure bliss.
A place where abundant creativity flowed naturally.
Not concerned with what “they” see.
It was the flow that set me free.
It was the flow that allowed me to BE.

No Boundaries. December 21, 2008

Hello All.
In life we are given dreams. These dreams come for a reason. We can choose to follow them, or fight against it and conform to the dreams of others. Freewill allows us to choose for ourselves what direction we want to go in.

If you follow your dreams, the best part is that there are no boundaries. After all it is your dream. When I say no boundaries, I mean you get to control exactly what you want to see, your vision is only as real as the energy and effort you put in. When you begin to awake to the reality of having no boundaries, you will be in awe of what you can accomplish.

Once again it’s your choice, not mine. My choice would be to dream big, there are no boundaries with this choice. I like it this way.

What Are You Paying Attention To? What You Give Attention To, You Give Power. December 19, 2008

mind-power1

Hello All.
What are you paying most of your attention to? Whatever you give your most attention to you give power to. When you are watching a movie and you give all your attention to the movie, you are giving the people that made that movie happen your power. Ever wonder why movie stars get the big bucks?
If you are doing something you don’t enjoy and giving it your full attention, then you are giving that power away to something that does not serve you well. The opposite is also true. If you are giving your full attention to something you love then you give your power to that as well.
Why do you think the Holidays are such a wonderful time? Because almost everyone is focused on being nice, kind, and giving. Therefore the energy it creates feels good.

Baker’s Real Life Example

When I’m writing these blogs my attention is focused on providing positive value. This gives the readers power. This empowers the readers and thus I get empowered as well. As you send out you get back. My attention is focused of providing the words that will uplift you is my intent. You, the reader are my audience. I am giving you attention with the understanding that with these words I give you power, if you choose to allow it. (Freewill).

The Main Point of this Post

The main point is that what we pay most attention to we give power to. What are you giving your attention to? If you understand that what you give your attention to is what you give power to, Is what you are focusing your attention on serving you well?

Marching to the Beat of Your Own Drum and Enjoying the Beat. December 16, 2008

Hello all.
Baker marches to the beat of his own drum. Baker really enjoys the beat too! The beat to my drum is amazing. I think that once you find your own rhythm and your own beat opportunities for improvement emerge and endless possibilities come alive. Marching to the beat of your own drum simply means, that you tend to do things that the majority of people may not necessarily agree with. It means being unique and being your true self regardless of what other people may say or think. It means creating something new and innovative when others are doing the exact opposite.

Baker’s Real Life Example

A real life of example is with Baker Blog posts. I understand my writing style may not be what you would traditionally read from a scholarly journal, typical book, and or average article. But it has my own unique style… Baker Style. Yes, I understand I make a lot of grammatical errors on my post, and sometimes I have run on sentences, but it’s my own flow, my beat, my drummer boy. And I enjoy it.

With that said. I’ve been reading up a lot of material from this informative website http://www.copyblogger.com/
I like this website as it gives me techniques and tips to become a better writer. Being open to improving my unique style will position me to grow as a writer. Copyblogger.com is a site that brings the pieces together in a presentable fashion, and I can still keep it Baker Style. This is what it means to have your own unique style, enjoying it, and being open to improving as opportunity presents itself.

The Main Point of This Post

March to the beat of your own drum, and enjoy it. Be you. Enjoy being you. As you march to the beat of your own drum and enjoy it opportunities will emerge. These opportunities may also come to you in the form of improving your unique style so it is more focused and presentable. But you can’t get to this point of seeing these wonderful opportunities if you don’t march to the beat of your own drum and enjoy the beat. So start marching and make sure it’s your beat you are marching to. You will be amazed as to what will begin to emerge.

The Answers To Your Questions Are Inside You. December 16, 2008

Hello All.
The answer to any question you have is already inside of you. We may ask people questions about which direction to go in, but ultimately all the answers are already inside you. All it takes is time and silence to really know the answer to your life’s burning questions. Talking with people helps and asking questions help guide you in the right direction as well. But this doesn’t change the fact that you already had the correct feeling from the start, for what direction to go in.

Baker’s Real Life Example

After graduating college there was something inside of my mind that was telling me to get a “real job.’ I quickly dismissed that thought because it was not in alignment with my true purpose. I knew that if I got a “real job” it would interfere with my creativity and my words wouldn’t be as sincere if I didn’t do Baker The Brand and Blogs full time.

This is an example of how the answers are already inside you. You’ll receive many suggestions about various directions to go but ultimately the voice inside surpasses everything else.

The Main Point of This Post
So the point is that any answer you ever need is already inside you. You just need to sit and listen to your inner voice. Some call this intuition or using your gut, whatever you call it, know that it won’t fail you. It loves you and wants only the best for you.

Jobless. Lyrics by Kanye West-Twisted by Baker December 15, 2008

http://www.knitwareblog.com

The lyrics to this song is dedicated to the new entrepreneurs of the world. These are the individuals creating “something out of nothing” in spite of the total collapse of the U.S economy. I respect and appreciate all of you for being the makers of change in a society so “heartless.” and ironically so “jobless.”

In the night I hear them talk,
The coldest story ever told,
Somewhere far along this road
He lost his soul,
To become so jobless…
How could you be so jobless?

Talkin’, talkin’, talkin’, talk
Baby lets just knock it off
They don’t know what we been through
They don’t know ’bout me and you

I’m gon’ take off tonight
Into the night…

In the night, I hear ‘em talk,
The coldest story ever told.
Somewhere far along this road, he lost his soul.
To a business so jobless..
How could you be so jobless? oh… How could you be so jobless.

Why Knowing Exactly What You Want is A Good Thing. December 11, 2008

Hello all.

Knowing exactly what you want is a good thing. When you know exactly what you want, you will take the action steps and sacrifices necessary to get your goal. Some people say they know what they want, but they haven’t really taken the time to sit and write out exactly what is they want. You would be surprised, not everyone is pursuing your exact goals.

Many people are not clear on what they want. This is alright. I suggest you take some time out and write down your ideal day. What would you be doing? How would you be feeling? What type of influence will you have with the people around you? How much will you be making? Take into account all these factors.
Once you have written out the perfect day. Then keep this list somewhere you visually see it everyday.

Writing down goals and writing down exactly what you want is the first step to attaining it. You also have to remember that there will be obstacles and challenges along the way, but I think knowing exactly what you want keeps you focused and keeps you in productive motion.

Why Delivering Positive Value Is Important During These Rough Financial Times. December 10, 2008

www.mansfieldtickets.com/

Hello all.
Delivering positive value is important during these hard economical times. With people loosing their jobs at historical rates, this alternative route is probably the most logical. This alternative is to create positive value to people and deliver it to individuals. This is not overly complicated. This is actually so easy that many people have to question its validity.

There is an abundance of different alternatives to create value and deliver it to people. Social media and the internet is making it easier for people to hop on to a computer and create something of value. For example when I’m writing this blog, I am sparking ideas and valuable information for people that probably never heard of this concept of “delivering positive value”. This bring me great joy. I am glad to know that what I am creating is something of positive value for you. These are the times we need to share and be grateful for the abundance of positive information that is presented to us.

Constantly struggling by searching for jobs that aren’t even close to your life mission, takes you further away from your creative spirit. It drains your energy. Once you begin to run away from your natural ability to create, you gave away your power. And to what did you give your power to?

You will be surprised of the endless abundance of opportunities that arise when you are focused on creating and delivering positive value for others to enjoy and be inspired by.

Why The Future Belongs To The Right Brain Thinker. December 9, 2008

The Right Brain Thinker

Hello All.
I was never that great in traditional school. Academically, I was just never “with it.” Most of the time I averaged a grade of C on most of my classes in college. Never once was I ashamed of this. I knew deep down that, (if we wanted) the C students of today would take over. Just look at my past blogs and see all the grammatical errors! lol.
The future belongs to the Right Brain Thinker.

Right brain thinkers are simply people that dominantly operate out of a place of intuition, creativity, and vision. These consist of the artist, entrepreneur, creator, musician, inventor, and many more.

I will be graduating college this weekend. I can honestly say the main thing that I learned in college is the need for people who studied a lot of traditional school stuff(mainly professors) constant need to feel important. Although this is not always the case, this is what I noticed. I feel it gives professors such a great ego trip to see happy smiling students pay them money to listen to them speak about (in most cases) ideas that are now obsolete, and useless. Granted, there were professors that were really inspiring and opened my eyes to great innovative ideas, and wisdom. But this was rare. I ran into more professors that lived inside their heads and judged you by how well you did things (usually one way) and the way they wanted.

Which leads me to…

I can’t stand having “titles”. I always hated titles and categories. I am not any better or worse than you.
Our left brain loves to analyze and put their ideas in categories. To function in the world, this definitely has it’s place. The problem is when we start putting and labeling people in categories. (Kind of like what I was doing earlier separating left brain and right brain people gggrrr! please excuse me).

My point is that I have seen people rise and fall because they fell in love with their title. This is human nature, and a result of letting what others say about us becoming us. This is dangerous.

The right brained people of the world are taking over
. Individuals who are apart of this new age of human consiousness are having secret meetings that hardcore right brain people can’t even begin to comprehend. These secret meetings are coming in the form of blogs, Youtube videos, and many other social networks on the internet. For example, I consider it a secret meeting when I’m watching a Technology, Entertainment, Design (TED) Youtube video, because I feel that the guest speakers are speaking directly to me and I can write down the information being presented, and share it with others.
In other words I don’t physically have to be at the conference to be at innovative and inspiring meetings such as these. I can sit back and learn from the greatest minds on my laptop!

There are people currently, building multi-billion dollar business with a simple innovative great idea, passion, and or service, and making their wildest dreams a reality. However, I believe the positive value that is being sent out to the the consumers is where the real fulfillment is being measured in today’s society. The information age is alive and kicking! Are you apart of this?

Personal Branding
People are branding. They are branding themselves, and are realizing the mind-blowing potential that lies within their souls, and sharing it to the world on a large scale. They are looking internally for answers. They are shining from what is inside their spirit, and allowing others to see this light from within, and putting people in awe. And quite frankly, getting paid in large sums of money for “being themselves.”

This idea is a hard concept to grasp for some people. But this is happening. Be a part of this with me. It’s exciting, fun, and totally worth your time and your energy. Let’s provide great positive value to people, and expand ourselves creatively and joyfully! Magic appears when we embrace our true selves and strategically and intentionally create the lives we choose to live, and in return inspiring other individuals to do the same.

Creating endless possibilities,

Why Blogging is Great & Baker’s Top 6 Reasons. December 8, 2008

013
Baker’s laptop. I use it a lot…

Hello Everyone.

Blogging has been such a great experience for me. It has been a creative release for me. When I first started blogging 1 year ago, I came in with the intention of inspiring and enriching the lives of countless individuals. The first 5-6 months I would get zero hits to my site, which resulted in zero comments.
However, I was not phased by this. Just having fun writing stuff on here was good enough for me. I realized that if I wrote something that I felt had to be written about, there was going to be an audience. Slowly but surely this blog began growing. I currently average about 50 hits a day. This is remarkable for me.

My suggestion for people that enjoy writing, is to start of with a blog. WordPress.com is a great and user friendly way to start blogging. I really want to hear what you guys have to say. I think sharing our experiences and the value that we have to offer the world is critical. Start off small and do it consistently, and I’m certain you will not only be giving out great value, but receiving it as well. This giving and receiving of value is the essence of beyond success.

Top 6 Reasons Baker Says Blogging is Great.

1. Creative Expression.
2. Sharing Value to People.
3. Being Part of a Community.
4. It’s easy and fun to do.
5. A way to track how you’ve personally “grown” over time.
6. A way to Vent out. (Get stuff out of your chest)

What Really Matters To Me & Why The Past Two Days Have Been Amazing. December 6, 2008

unexpectedart.blogspot.com/

Hello All!
What really matters to Baker is that you get inspired and enriched by these blogs. I have been getting a good amount of visitors on my blog lately, and I am grateful for this. I intend that what I post on here makes your day that much better. I know that we are dealing with so much in these trying times, but believe me that a positive attitude and the willingness to do what it takes to get to where you want will all be worthwhile.

These past two days have been amazing. Below are the two amazing things that I’ve been fortunate to be apart of in the past two days.

1.Last night I was on a Live Chat with Tim Ferris. Tim Ferris is the author of the #1 New York Bestselling book entitled The 4hr Workweek.
I learned a lot from having a chat with Tim.
The main thing is that I learned was that he really does apply Pareto’s 80/20 Principle in his life, and his success is living proof of this. I have applied the 80/20 rule in my life, but hearing him reiterate it in the chat made me feel reassured, and validated my reasons for applying this rule even further, thus gaining positive results.
If you are unfamiliar with the 80/20 Principle it can be found HERE.

2. This afternoon I was fortunate enough to be on a live Chat with Gary Vaynerchcuk Founder of Wine Library TV. He has a very strong personality, but I think it actually serves him well. His high energy really attracts a wide audience and his intentions are good. I learned that he really does care about his community. I learned that staying in touch with your community and reaching out to the community is critical to any worth-while success.

What really matters to me, is that I receive this value and share it with my readers. These past two days have been amazing!

With Gratitude,

+Baker
