I will Write about Something Good-Positive Energy November 30, 2008

plus-sign

Today I am going to blog about something Good. This blog is pure positive good energy. Being positive is very natural for some people, while other have to logically try to still see if it makes sense. However my worry is that people try to analyze the concept of positive energy “too much” and actually go in the opposite end of what Positive energy really is.

Positive energy is something you feel more than anything else. Positive energy is the key factor in achieving beyond success in anything you undertake. It is the fuel that makes the process much more exciting and worthwhile.
When I take on projects, I only take them on if it feels right. When I say feels right, I have to know that there is enough positive energy into what I’m doing, or I just cut it out completely. Energy goes where Intention goes. So if you intend on positive you receive positive experiences. If you intend on negative you receive negative experiences.
Letting your positive emotions guide you is usually the best thing to do when determining which direction to go.

What I can say with certainty is that positive energy feels better than negative energy.

Letting your positive emotions guide you is usually the best thing to do when determining which direction to go.

P.S The reason I use (+) before Baker when I write something is because I am Positive :)

I want to say thank you for the individuals that dreamed big and never Believe “The Box” ever existed.
This “box” can come in many forms. It can come in the form of a 9-5 job that people despise. It can be in the form of conforming to a long held condition belief about something that you never even believed in. This box entraps the mind.

Thank you to those that continue to follow their dreams and are not inside “The Box” because they never even believed the box existed.

This blog is dedicated for the dreamers that make their dreams happen, and inspire others to do the same.

Assets V.S Liabilities- Don’t buy into the Black Friday Hoopla. November 28, 2008

Hello all.

If there is one thing I’m efficient at, it would be money. Handling money and knowing where to place my money is something I am excellent at doing. I don’t claim to be an expert, but I have studied under several wealthy individuals that understand the subject of money. The people I have studied under helped me understand how to make money grow.

Today is Black Friday and in the honest hopes of consumers identification with material goods, rest assured, they will be out shopping like crazy, (buying on credit for the most part) and getting themselves into a lot of trouble.

Folks. We are in a recession, this recession is severe. It is so severe that it will turn into a great depression soon. Yes, buying material goods from these shops does help out their business, and yes this does to some extent help out the economy. But the truly wealthy know not to buy into the Black Friday Hoopla.

Yes, Buy items and gifts for loved ones etc. But, I don’t think this is the time to go overboard.

Let me tell you about something that I have grown to understand. What I have grown to understand is the foundation of wealth. The statement is true any way you cut it. It is a statement that is embedded in my mind and should be embedded in yours as well.

“Rich people buy assets. Poor people buy liabilities”

A rich person is someone who invests their money into something that will grow in value over time. A poor person is someone who buys things with their money that deprecate or goes down in value over time. When you buy those new pair of shoes, know that those pair of shoes are a liability. You have spent money on something that will give you instant gratification in the short-term, but long term aches and pains.

Delayed gratification is the path to wealth. Steadily and consistently purchasing assets such as real estate, silver/gold (real money), businesses, etc. are what make people richer financially.

Go out and shop today, but don’t go overboard. Be wise where you put your money today, it will cost you later down the road.

Baker Podcast 1- The Importance of Having A Vision. November 28, 2008

Hello all.

Below is an audio-video that I completed. Here I talk about the importance of having a vision.
This audio-video is just the beginning of what I can do, I feel the world is ready for what I have to bring right now. Just give it time, I will fly high. My deep fear of not expressing my passion for a beyond success life is so strong that I am literally forced into positive continuous action. The sound quality of this audio-video is poor, but you know I will definitely be making it better as time progresses. What I’m very much in awe of is how Baker The Brand is emerging and taking a life of it’s own, opening up several ways for me to passionately express my creativity and inspire and enrich the lives of people. As I inspire and enrich others my life is deeply enriched. This I know to be true.

Enjoy this video!

Hello All.
A short video about a boy that really made me wonder, why people take their dreams for granted, and don’t follow their dreams. I really got inspired when this boy started tearing up when he said what makes him sad was “when someone gives up.” Watch this video.

It’s Feeling Like Basketball Again. November 28, 2008

Hello.

It’s feeling like basketball again. When I was younger I had a deep passion for the game of basketball. A fire burned deep in my soul when I would play basketball. It was always about being the best that I could be. This is the same feeling I am having again with blogging, Youtube videos, and brand equity. This is not a game to me right now. It is 12:45 am I just finished having turkey at a family party, and a fire lit up in my soul, very similar to when I would just be sitting around when I was in Grade School/High school and all I could think about was getting back on the basketball court to play against the competition. I’m pumping great positive value right now, So quickly that I can’t even twitter what I’m doing at the exact moment. I want the bloggers right now to bring it… hard. There is no weak stuff anymore. My fire is lit up now.. This is not a game. I will be pumping highly intense and positive passionate lasting value in everything Baker The Brand. Get with me or get out of my way, I’m going to fly.

This is not about proving anything to anyone. I have to prove this to myself.

It’s feeling like Basketball again. Watch out world. I’m here for the long haul. My soul is burning.

Thanksgiving Day is coming up! I really enjoy the idea that someone decided to make a day where we give thanks for everything we have. With that said, I think being thankful everyday for everything we experience and acquire is equally important.

Everyday I wake up thankful for life. This simple act of gratitude keeps me focused on my goals and makes for an uplifting and highly productive and positive day.

What Successful people worry about V.S What Unsuccessful people worry about. November 24, 2008

cd

Hello all.
We all have worries about something. We always have something to ponder endlessly that causes us stress and strain. This is human nature.

However,
I think what successful people worry about is very different then what unsuccessful people worry about. I included a list below of the top 6 Things unsuccessful people worry about v.s the top 6 things successful people worry about.

The Top 6 things Unsuccessful people worry about.

1. Who won last nights football game?
2. What does that lady think about my new shoes?
3. Where da’ fine ladies at?
4. Is Britney Spears Pregnant?
5. Will she/he call me tonight?
6. Is there any beer in the fridge?

The Top 6 things Successful people worry about.

1. What is my passion?
2. Is what I’m dong at this moment, leading me closer to my goals or bringing me further away?
3. How can I reach a wider audience?
4. Do I have more assets than liabilities?
5. Am I being honest with what I say I’m going to do?
6. Is the value I’m providing needed right now?

Watching A Movie is Highly Unproductive. November 23, 2008

Filed under: Uncategorized — beyondsuccess @ 11:55 pm

42-16854550

Hello all.

Watching a movie is a highly unproductive.

Ever since I can remember I hated watching movies. Movies don’t do anything for me. They don’t inspire me, motivate me, nothing. I am wise enough to know that the people in the movies are just acting a role, the music in the background is just music someone felt was appropriate, the way the film is shot is just the way a director wanted it. There is nothing about watching movies that makes you more of a better person. Watching a movie is a complete waste of time.

To be honest, I remember just trying to fit in. So in my honest attempts of just trying to fit in I would pretend like I really cared about the next new movie coming out, and say I can’t wait to see this movie, I “hear’ it’s really good.

But honestly I didn’t really care if Spiderman still had the right amount of Web string in his wrist for him to kill the enemy in Spiderman 2.

Watching movies is a waste of time because the people that watch the movies have bought into something that just makes the characters in the movies appear more better than they really are. People watch movies because they need a break from their boring lives.

What if your life wasn’t boring? What if what you did for a living was so fun that watching a movie became boring?

The last movie I watched was “A stroke of Genius” This is the movie about how an inventor created a new way of making windshield wipers automatically. This movie was a good movie, but all it made me want to do was create something better than what the character in the movie was creating. Throughout the entire movie, you see the main character hustle and work hard at creating something of value for society(Automatic window-wipers). You see him work endlessly. He is fierce, and determined, he faces many obstacles in his way. I was like I don’t need to sit here in this movie theater for 2 hours watching a guy work hard. I do that for a living!
Complete waste of time? Yes.

The Movie Industry and the whole phenomena of famous actors and actresses started becoming real popular during the Great Depression. They became popular because the real life events taking place during that time were really bad. These people needed an escape from reality, so they fell in love with the stars that took them away from reality for an hour or two.

The reason I say watching a movie is highly unproductive especially at this day in age, is because I feel we are going to go through the 2nd Great Depression in the U.S. I wouldn’t doubt that history will repeat itself, and people will continue to flood the movie theaters as a way to escape. This is not what we need at time in history. We need more people to get lost in their creativity, innovations, and passions. This allows for a more productive use of time, and will keep the spirits up. I noticed when I’m typing on here, it is a sense of escape for me. I hope people awake to these realities and get out of the movie theaters, and into their own creations.

In life you are either the fan or the player in the game. Fans are wishy-washy they change colors all the time, they cheer for you when you are up, and when your down they boo you. Fans are easily influenced by what the majority of people are thinking. Let me give you an example in professional Sports. Why is it when the Los Angeles Lakers are winning games everyone all of a sudden wants to watch the Lakers? When they begin loosing what happens to the amount of people watching their games?

How is this principal any different than how people are in real life situations?

Players in the game stay focused regardless of what is happening on the “outside.” They don’t get phased by what the fans think, they just do the best job they know how, and stay in the game. Players in the game are performing at their highest levels because that’s what they do. Players in the game have goals, and they don’t care if their goals go against the majority.

Are you a fan? Or a player in the game?

3,308 hits Today! November 20, 2008

Filed under: Uncategorized — beyondsuccess @ 8:22 pm

I started blogging on here close to a year ago. Today I’ve been informed that I hit the 3,308 hits mark! I just want to take this time to celebrate this moment. Not sure if that’s a lot of hits for a year, or if it’s at the lower end of the stats. But It’s fine, I think it’s pretty awesome. I also know 3,038 is not a round number. That’s kinda how Beyond Success blogs have been, random yet celebratory in nature.

I know logically I probably should have made this post when I hit 1,000 or 3,000 hits, but that’s fine. I’ll do it my way.

Here is to 3,308 blog hits!

celebrate

I’m just barley getting started on figuring out how the blog world operates, when I get this down I’m convinced that it will send shock waves throughout the nation. If it doesn’t send shock waves that’s fine too, I’m having a fun time posting blogs that provide positive lasting value to people.
